SooSimGa : the song of longing
Longing for one’s memory commonly appears in many songs of traditional and, also modern.This new work on the Korea traditional song, called ‘SooSimGa’ could be translated as ‘the song of longing’ with considerably deeper emotion. A Korean traditional singer, KIM MU BIN is releasing a newly reformatted work for this traditional song with the composer, SUKJIN CHANG who works in many different genres ; works performed by Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, National Orchestra of Korea, and composed for Player’s Unknown Battle Grounds: 2019 VIKENDI Theme O.S.T and so on. The work has been composed based on this Korean traditional song for piano trio and a traditional voice by reforming its original structure with modern atmospheric gesture of the western instruments. ....
